My Personal Story:
My name is Cindy and I am 50+ (wow, where has the time gone).
Did you know that I picked you personally to listen, I did, so here goes!
I first learned about "The Law of Attraction" as it relates to Abundance & Celebrations during Covid 19 when all public education schools were closed for the remainder of the year, and I enrolled in a coaching program called "Thinking into Results" and it opened up a NEW WORLD for me!
I had big plans and dreams but when the world opened up again, I reluctantly went back into the classroom. This was the beginning of my anxiety in general and I began to question my teaching career!
The struggle was so REAL.
Peek into my background....
Education runs in my family, and I embraced it wholeheartedly; five of my relatives have been involved in education. My parents, both very successful careers, were educators at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as coaches, so my path into education was a natural one. Though it was never imposed upon me, it felt like the right choice. The value of education was instilled in me early on and my dad always said, "it's something that can never be taken from you." This belief taught me perseverance and shaped my career for many years.
In 2007, upon completing my graduate degree, I discovered the unique world of entrepreneurship. Faced with the stark reality that my salary increase as a teacher didn't cover my student loan payments, I became enamored with the concept of self-employment and the freedom of working from home.
I have always had a spirit for learning, growing, and gaining confidence. I have been a self-development junkie for as long as I can remember. Since discovering working from home/entrepreneurship/network marketing I have toyed with the idea but was one who always thought that it was only for the lucky ones!!! I never understood how to “get out of my head” and the struggle has been real. I have been spinning in circles trying to convince myself that I was where I needed to be (teacher/job).
I made the decision to RETIRE from 25 years of teaching...... wtf now! ha! ha! read on......
Fast forward to January 2024 and I can say without a doubt that I have done the hard work in regard to my mental health and once I made the decision to embrace the “suck” I knew I had the strength to face the challenges that I had been blindsided with!
In April of 2022 my family faced a challenging experience that has forever changed our lives! Although we are all here and back on track the following year and even today can be unsettling and just downright exhausting thinking about how making decisions can affect the rest of your life. Take the time to invest in your children because even when you "think" they are okay it's not always the case. (this website is not about my family, but the struggle has been real and has been a factor in the decision I made to leave the classroom).
Back to where we were.......
Although it is a lifelong commitment (mental wellness) there are days, weeks and sometimes years that it’s just dark wherever you look!
You feel hopeless, depression and anxiety take over your day-to-day joy! You want to kick and scream, exhaustion crepes in and you just want it all to go away!
It’s a personal decision on how you deal with and take control of your circumstances and believe me you do have choices!
It’s not easy to face the truth but damn if it is or was a place that I wanted to stay!
I am eternally grateful for the people who knew what to say and even those who didn’t know what to say! It’s okay and I understand your silence now.
The tears and not knowing what the fuck was going to happen next eventually “cracked my spirit” and through the chaos and what I learned was my trauma as a result of the uncertainty in my daily life made me a stronger person and with my family and support, we began to take steps to reconcile.
As a result…… where I am now!
I began looking for a NEW WAY to live life and now have regained my energy, my confidence is on the rise and each day is a new beginning.
Most importantly my family is healing as time goes on!
It is my goal to create a fun and uplifting community here (don’t get me wrong we work hard) and on the way to time & financial freedom!
It’s time to get excited about what is ahead and be thankful for what is behind!
I can speak from my heart with experience when you feel like your world is falling apart and out of control, but I also can encourage you to put one foot in front of the other and find your smile again!
I promise you it’s within!
